10.5.2 Rumor For MacWorld

New iPhone Firmware With Features This Saturday?

CNET France is reporting the next Apple firmware for the iPhone will be released at the end of this week. It would be v1.1.3 if true. CNET France has also reported this update "adds both a disk mode for storing general data on the device and a voice recording mode for capturing lectures or voice memos. The disk feature behaves like the equivalent for iPods and will still block users from simply dragging and dropping content to load the phone with playable music..." but keep in mind, this is just one rumor by one website known for its dependence on Microsoft advertising.

Vodafone Squeals Like A Pig
Friedrich Joussen, CEO of Vodafone Deutschland, is being quoted by Heise Online whining "Apple and T-Mobile have decided to change the market in an anticompetitive way..." implying that Apple and T-Mobile are creating a monopoly by working together via contract to sell the iPhone. A German Court recently ruled against Vodafone who sought to destroy the deal between Apple and T-Mobile.

White MacBook Stain Removal
Use a non-acetone version of nail polish remover to remove stains from your white MacBook. It must be non-acetone because acetone will ruin the exterior casing. Does a fine job removing yellow palm and wrist stains.
