Apple Makes Deal With Movie Industry
BusinessWeek is reporting that Apple has office made a deal with the movie studios including Fox, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Lionsgate and possibly Miramax and Sony to offer "day of release" downloadable movie rentals. Apple will hold the largest movie rental database by any of the commercial online rental or movie businesses and renters will be able to peruse and select movies going back nearly 50 years from the libraries of all the major studios. That's quite a coup, folks!

iPhone Hackers Shoot Own Foot
iPhone Hackers, angry that Apple keeps locking them out of the iPhone by not allowing them to hack you iPhone to add "their" applications, have created a Trojan horse malware targeted at hacked iPhones. The package, announcing itself as an "important system" upgrade needed prior to upgrading to iPhone version v1.1.3 (due next week) affects iPhone application components. Try to uninstall or remove the Trojan and you'll find your other applications will be removed. Mind you, this Trojan only affects those iPhones that have been hacked already and are using the infamous hacked installer program to add unauthorized third party applications. If you've never hacked your iPhone then you have nothing to worry about. Looks like the iPhone hackers are kicking themselves in the ass. They [mis]believe this Trojan malware will scare Apple into allowing the installation of any or all third party applications. That's pretty stupid if you ask me.
