Gmail Auto-Setup Now On iPhone
How cool is this? The latest firmware upgrade makes an automatic change in Gmail. If you use the mail setup icon for Gmail in the iPhone, IMAP will be enabled. Any actions you take on your iPhone will now sync with actions in your Gmail web interface. Messages you delete on your iPhone will be moved to the Trash folder in the Gmail web interface and deleted after 30 days. Very nice.

Louvre Apple
France loves Apple. The Chamber of Commerce of Paris has announced a huge flagship Apple Store will be opening in the Carrousel du Louvre shopping center. The new store will cover two floors and be adjacent to the glorious Louvre Museum and that location should bring an enormous amount of customers. The new Apple Louvre will cover over 10,000 square feet.

Add a 'Recent Apps' stack to the Dock
This is cool. If you're like me you already have a lot of app icons on your dock and many times I have to dig into the Applications folder to pull out another application. Now you can add a Recent Apps stack to your dock, like your Recent Downloads stack or Recent Documents stack. A quick click on your dock and the stack opens displaying any application you opened recently. Quick and easy access. Here's how you do it:

Go to your Utilities folder and open the Terminal Application. At the command prompt paste in the following statement (highlight, copy then paste)...

defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-others -array-add '{ "tile-data" = { "list-type" = 1; }; "tile-type" = "recents-tile"; }'

Hit the enter key.

Now type: killall Dock

The Dock will drop below the bottom of the screen and come back with a new folder next to the trash can. Click on it and you'll see the Terminal icon is there because it is a recent application you opened! So cool!

Apprentice Loves Apple
If you're a fan of "The Apprentice" and a Mac user then you know the show uses MacBooks and iMacs galore. They seem to be everywhere and in scene after scene.
