Clinton Loss Major Blow To Women

Should Hillary Clinton lose the Democratic nomination the loss would be a major blow to all women. The concerted effort by the Republican Right and the Obama group to keep Hillary from winning the nomination has hurt all women who have, for decades, fought to break that political glass ceiling. Hussein Obama and the immigrant right-leaning Huffington continue to believe women belong in the kitchen, bare-foot and pregnant and they want to keep it that way.

Many women today, who have been greeted at the same level as their male counterparts in the world of business, owe such access to the women who came before them and yet, so many are too young (or too stupid) to realize it was women like Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro who forced open those doors to higher paying jobs and equal employment with men. Their struggle is still being fought day in and day out.

Hussein Obama has worked endlessly to destroy Hillary Clinton's efforts to reach what should have been her rightful nomination and he did so through claims of racism and elitism. The former right-winger Huffington (who today claims to be independent) has used her website to promote Hussein Obama and to mock Hillary Clinton.

It is a sad day in America when an ill-equipped uneducated man like Hussein Obama and a relatively new immigrant, who btw, barely speaks English and came to this country through the hands of the Republican party, Ariana Huffington can destroy everything American women have worked and died for - equality. The fault lies with the American women of this country who don't realize they have been misled and lied to once again. When will they ever learn?

Comcast Blatantly Lies To Feds

I hate a liar as much as the next guy but Comcast really takes the cake on this one ... Believing they are untouchable, Comcast has blatantly lied to the FCC about throttling their customers. New data on Comcast’s interference with BitTorrent traffic shows that the company lied to the FCC this past February. Comcast has always argued that BitTorrent upstream traffic was only blocked during periods of heavy network traffic, this turns out to be a bold faced lie.

Comcast has continued to throttle their customers and are relying on strong-arm tactics like personal phone calls to customers with veiled threats to report them to various copyright holders known for filing lawsuits seeking million dollar judgments against individuals with no viable truth to support their claims. The lawsuits are meant to frighten and drive away any customer who refuses to adhere to Comcast's determination to control the Internet traffic. Other strong-arm tactics have included sending disconnect signals to your computer causing it to freeze in place which causes you to restart your computer again and again and again. This is done for those who go to bed at night leaving their machines on so they can download legal files. You wake up and find your machine stopped working an hour after you went to bed. Not only do you have to restart your computer again but the file you should have sitting on your desktop will take take many more attempts because Comcast is going to throttle you as often as they can. Is that why you signed on with Comcast? If so, then you get what you wish for.

What Comcast is doing, in short, is stealing from their own customers to attract new customers and feed them the bandwidth you are paying. Your account with Comcast includes 24/7 access to the internet with at least 6Mbts (megabits) per second. But Comcast can't sustain that kind of bandwidth for their customers - unless they steal bandwidth by throttling you or cutting back on your bandwidth speed. Comcast is literally forcing you to pay for bandwidth they promise to give you but they actually steal from you to entice other new customers to sign on with Comcast.

What can you do to stop Comcast? Drop them as your ISP provider despite their claims of fast internet service, Comcast is no faster then all the other smaller ISPs. They all use the same Internet roadway but Comcast wants you to believe they have a roadway so slick you'll want to use it. Don't.

Feds Place Comcast Under Investigation

What comes around goes around ... I've recently reported here on the illegal actions of Comcast on our service last month prompting us to drop Comcast like a hot potato. In short, Comcast called and screamed their head off because we had exceeded our "unlimited" data transfer limits and admitted then and there that they were reading our private emails and viewing our private email attachments (and could do so under the Patriot Act). That, of course, prompted me to contact my boss, who, in turn, closed our Comcast account promptly.

Yesterday my boss got a call from some joker at Comcast who couldn't apologize enough, claimed it was all some kind of unbelievable mistake and noting Comcast would never hamper a customer's 'Net access or view their private email. My boss, generally a gentle easy-going guy, said he went livid and couldn't stop himself from cursing at the guy over the Comcast policies and poor service. The Comcast Rep was not happy at all the bad publicity we've been showering Comcast with and wanted to know how he could appease and/or make amends and bring us back into the fold of Comcast.

That angered the boss so much that he told the Comcast Rep we'd never go back to Comcast, in fact, our goal was to shut Comcast down and to ensure no customer is EVER inflicted with such harassment again. "Just be thankful we haven't filed a major lawsuit against Comcast and we're still considering doing that!" he bellowed into the guy's ear.

What prompted the call? Was it the depositions we gave to the California State Attorney General, the onslaught of Congressional complaints we've fired off to Pelosi, Feinstein, Lofgren and every other lawmaker in California? Could it be our demand to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors that they halt all access to Comcast services by City and County residents who are forced by near monopoly to accept Comcast and only Comcast? Or the many articles now appearing in every nationwide newspaper about the Feds putting Comcast under investigation?

We don't care what it is - what we know is that Comcast needs to be stopped in its tracks now - today and every reader should speak out and demand the law of 'Net neutrality be enforced. For every incident Comcast has incurred upon their customers of throttling, illegal reading of private email and their attachments, monitoring of up and downloads, reporting any activity to anyone without a court order, Comcast should be required to pay up - and the law says $195,000 per incident.

For more information, SFGate ran an article entitled "Study: Cox, Comcast Internet Subscribers Blocked" on their website yesterday. Click the link and read all about it then write your Congressperson and let's shut Comcast down today!
